ClickerCloud – Privacy Policy

ClickerCloud ("we," "our," or "us") provides a platform for dog trainers and training organizations to manage clients, dogs, training plans, appointments, and payments. We take privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information of trainers, clients, and anyone who uses our services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We collect information that users voluntarily provide when creating or using an account, such as name, email address, password, organization or business information, client and dog information, training notes, files you upload, appointment details and communications, and payment-related information entered through Stripe (we don’t store full card numbers).

B. Information Collected Automatically

When using the platform, we may automatically collect device and browser information, IP address, usage data, and cookies or similar technologies.

C. Third-Party Integrations

If you choose to connect integrations (e.g., Stripe, Google Calendar), those services may share information with us based on your permissions. We do not sell your data, and we do not receive data from third parties except as needed to provide your selected integrations.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to create and manage user accounts, provide and improve the platform, support scheduling and training features, communicate about updates or security, process payments, monitor for abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Training notes, client info, and dog profiles belong to the organization that created them, and we do not use customer data for advertising or marketing beyond our own service updates.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers who help run our platform (e.g., hosting, email, analytics), Stripe to process payments, law enforcement if legally required, and other users in your organization according to roles and permissions. We do not sell data, rent data, or share it with advertisers.

4. Data Storage & Security

We use modern security practices such as encrypted transmission, role-based access, multi-tenant separation, and regular backups. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and account access.

5. Data Retention

We retain account-related data as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days unless legally required to keep it. You may request early deletion by contacting support@clickercloud.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

ClickerCloud is not intended for children under 13. If you enter information about a minor, you are responsible for obtaining any required consent.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export your data, or opt out of certain uses. You can exercise these rights by contacting support.

8. International Users

Data may be stored and processed in the United States. If you are outside the U.S., you consent to this processing by using the service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email or in-app notice.

ClickerCloud – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClickerCloud ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using ClickerCloud

You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, use the Service only for lawful purposes, and keep your account credentials secure. Organizations are responsible for their internal users and data added to their workspace.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, including client information, dog profiles, training plans, files, and appointment information. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to operate the platform. We do not claim ownership of your training data or materials.

3. Prohibited Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the platform; upload malware or harmful files; attempt to access data belonging to another organization; use the platform for illegal activities; or harass or abuse other users. Violation may result in suspension or termination.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

ClickerCloud is a subscription-based service with prices and plan details listed on our website. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law. If you receive a beta tester discount or promo, the offer terms apply to your billing.

5. Canceling Your Account

You can cancel at any time. After cancellation, your data will be deleted within 90 days unless legally required to retain it.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide excellent uptime but may perform maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to discontinue the Service with 60 days’ notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

ClickerCloud is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, including loss of business, loss of data beyond normal backups, or errors in training notes.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClickerCloud from claims arising from your use of the Service, content you upload, violations of these Terms, or disputes between you and your clients.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in-app notice.
